Creating YCL Notebook

Build in Public Series: New steps in selection and framework

👋 Dear creative. How are you doing today?

So, how’s the notebook coming along? (wonders a reader…)

Our notebook has been evolving and taking shape. Normally, I would create a simple notebook like this within a week or two. If there are many illustrations, it can sometimes take up to a month. But this project is different. It’s a collaboration, meaning your insights are guiding the next steps. So, step by step, let’s build this tool together.

  • From our first poll, some elements were confirmed (you can still add your vote to that post). A special thanks to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts on what they’d like to see in the notebook. Thanks to your input, I now have a clearer vision of what to include in this first version.

  • In my audio update, I took a quick deep dive into the progress and collaboration pages. Now, you can vote based on the different prompts to further refine the selections for those specific pages.

A book is a collaboration between the one who reads and what is read and, at its best, that coming together is a love story like any other.

📈 Progress pages

Let’s look into the progress pages and what to infuse into these pivotal sections. Projects have their timing and growth. I believe having a clear layout that helps with tracking without distracting from reflection and sharing can be beneficial for both you and me.

📈 Collaboration pages

Before collaborating with someone else, I want this notebook to be a tribute to a collaboration between different versions of yourself. Now, speaking of going the extra mile and working with others, what can we explore for greater effectiveness?

Thank you for your asnwers!
Next week we will have a special issue about a craft of love.

Sending ☕︎ vibes (It was an intense emotional day. Who needs chamomile instead of coffee?)
