👋 Dear creative. How are you doing today?
A reader’s tool…
I initially sent this email to my most active readers to start gathering insights for a project. However, due to a bug in the poll information, I decided to extend it to all my readers: from the pioneer readers to regulars and newbies who can give their votes. It also serves as a rediscovery of what YCL has grown to become.
A fresh new year brings a new tool for you to use as a complement to Your Creative Letter. For some time now, I have been thinking about the idea of creating a notebook or guidebook inspired by this newsletter—a printed notebook designed with features that you could integrate into your daily routine.
The journal is a vehicle for my sense of selfhood. It represents me as emotionally and spiritually independent. Therefore (alas) it does not simply record my actual, daily life but rather—in many cases—offers an alternative to it.

Whether you read the newsletter often or not, this notebook can support you and become a nurturing daily tool.
I hope it can serve you as a daily companion for exploring creative ideas and processes, reflecting, drawing, designing projects, and/or letting your mind wander.

✅ Your turn! What would you like to see in the notebook or guidebook?
Share your thoughts in the poll below. We’ll refine it as the choices are finalized.
You can look into the curated themes on the menu of the homepage, on the archive and on your saved posts. Let me know in our next poll. I will include some of them, and you’ll have the chance to refine your choices.
The first volume of Your Favorites can already be a helpful resource.
Have something else in mind? Hit reply and let me know—some of your suggestions might be added to the notebook.
