My favorite observation is that you don't have to meet ALL of your goals in order to move forward/progress. I think a lot of folks grade themselves too harshly whenever they miss a goal, but they're still further along and probably better off now.
Humans can be harsh on themselves. It’s easy to be—sometimes I still am—overly critical for not achieving a goal. But with distance and perspective, it often turns out to be for the better, as you highlighted!
Additionally, the priority isn’t always a specific goal but rather a better state of mind. For example, when you keep running into the same wall of a bad habit, it can be tough to try again. Hopefully, though, it builds awareness and strengthens the desire for real change.
I'm learning (slowly!) to listen to these moments, when I keep hitting the same wall over and over again. Zooming out frequently helps a lot. Wisdom takes time, doesn't it?
Love the Steven Pressfield quote! Nice read 😎
It’s a great one! That Muse, we must let it do the job :) Glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you for sharing, Andrew!

It does 🙂 Glad to read, you are more mindful of those signs.
