👋 Hello, dear creative. How are you doing today?
This week was pretty busy with meeting deadlines. I was on a sprint to respond to a brief by Unsplash; you can check out a preview here. I could not record the video for the new section of the newsletter ''Creativity Means Business'', it was too short. It will be for next time. In the meantime, here is a fun intro to the new section and a call to creatives to create meaningful things to invade the market.
Inspired by my 21 sentences on creativity, entrepreneurship, and life, which I wrote last year, I loved this straightforward format to start the conversation about the vision. Maybe one or two sentences will spark inspiration, questions, and action.
We are all looking for freedom in our lives. We can express and pursue that freedom abundantly through our creative endeavors. Yes! Creativity can lead to business.
Creativity + entrepreneurship = financial freedom for the greater good.
Stand out for the right reasons! It takes time, resilience, and the ability to allow your voice to BE, to do so.
Creativity is a state that leads to a message. The message guides you to an idea. Now it is up to you to convey that idea with the utmost passion.
Your creative superpowers are a money-making machine if you learn to use them wisely.
In the era we live in, we are told we should fight for roles in the market. Apply and apply to stand out from the crowd. What if we hacked that dynamic and crafted a way into the market our way?
You can find yourself with no clients and an empty pipeline, what do you do? One of the most logical questions for action is: What do I have that can be turned into a product and serve a niche in the market?
It is not about earning money. It's about understanding how money works. Creativity is a magnet for abundance in all its forms: collaborations, opportunities and revealing your potential.
There is immense strength and joy that comes from creating something that will serve someone else.
Striving for progress, not perfection, is the ultimate goal!
You will make bad products until you crack your code and start creating better, more engaging ones that truly hit the mark for your customers. So, keep going!
Your art is a product. Your creative ideas and ease serve as supportive tools for many. It holds value in people's hearts and even greater value in the market, especially when it creates resonance.
The core game of the market is understanding that emotions are magnets. If you can grasp that emotion because you have experienced it or witnessed it, you can tell that story.
If you think about business and creativity, you cannot avoid branding, storytelling and marketing.
The niche is not a myth; it is highly valuable. Figure out who you are talking to and identify your audience. Sometimes, it can be a younger version of yourself, specifically at that point in your life, when you found a solution for yourself.
What pushes you into entrepreneurship is more than what you think. A wall, or many walls, facing rejection, identifying a gap in the market, inspiration from family and friends, or even the joy to find solutions. There are billions of reasons to take the leap, dare to believe, and build an idea.
An idea is a friend. Follow it; you never know where it will lead you. (Yes, bad ideas can lead to good ideas. It is the school.)
Would you buy your products? Would you offer it to friends and family? Are you proud enough to market it the best you can? I ask myself this question each time, even more, today, as I know that no product is finite. (You can update it and improve the experience.!)
Your first sale on the internet is an aha moment. Yes, a perfect stranger bought something from you without knowing who you were, but he sensed your vision from afar. Do you see the path?
You can write, design, and self-publish a book. You can also create a digital product and shift your creative business. However, you need to acquire the skill or understanding of selling.
It could seem hard or opaque. You may wonder: It's too difficult; nobody I know has ever done it. Maybe that's why! There is a seat available for you to do it.
✦ BONUS:
You may start over but it is never on a blank paper. You have stacked a well of ideas, inspirations, and strategies. Open your eyes and see those places where you can take action and progress.
Without an audience, how can I make sales? Begin by reaching out to someone you know or by metaphorically "throwing the bottle into the sea." You never know who will connect with your genuine self, ideas and solutions.
How do you create a movement? It is a striking process to observe. From a crazy idea comes a random connection. Someone else gets it and joins. Dare to believe in your crazy idea, and the greatest reward is throwing yourself into making it happen. Watch it transform before your eyes. Amazing! Creative genius at work.
I will share specific results in my next post. The evidence that led to taking things seriously. By the way, which statements resonated with you? Did any of them prompt action?
Sending aha vibes 🧠
