👋 Hello, dear creative. How are you doing today?

A few weeks ago, I read a great newsletter issue by Dylan Bridger. He shared 31 one-sentence musings on marketing, business and life. I loved the concept and decided to give it a try here. Maybe, one or two sentences will spark laughter, reflections, and inspiration.

Prove to yourself that you can do it before trying to prove it to anybody else. Actually, you have nothing to prove to anybody.

Take a day to listen and observe. Silence is so underrated.
A peer who becomes a friend is a teammate. A mentor who becomes a friend is power in time.
Some may judge you, diminish you, or even ridicule you. No worries, follow your North Star. Time will be your best witness and judge, and we know Time has its rules.
Align your environment with your vision.
Create projects that include others. With more brains at work, more fun ideas can birth.
Start a newsletter and shift your creative life.
Creatives are multitudes in one. Yet, you will surrender to less is more at the appointed time.
Keep your boat tidy as best as you can. Declutter ideas, and projects. Spark some refresh into your work-life balance.
Saying ‘‘No’’ is a good thing! Your cup functions better when you can work with it.
Talk to strangers when it feels right. Seize the hunch and discover so many stories.
Younger self, please join me at the table and let’s have a hot chocolate with cookies.
A pencil can change the norm. A pencil is a changemaker.
When you feel low, take the time to enjoy one small thing. Dwell in it and lighten your load for a few minutes.
Check your joy levels and make adjustments for the better. Oh! laugh daily too.
Hold dear to you, those who cheer, support and lift you. All those beautiful souls you have the luxury to navigate life with.
Your childhood dream may appear in a surprising form. Keep your eyes open to notice and wonder how ‘‘it was just there’’.
