Knocking on so many doors… then ‘‘one’’ door opens.
👋 Hello enthusiast, how are you doing today?
38 years of waiting and a golden globe
The journey to a dream becoming real can be long.
These actors each time give me goosebumps when I hear about their journey to a role. The hard work, chance, luck, divine timing … then a call, someone referring you, you working on a part that did not exist yet.
Does it all result in being at the right place at the right time?
Maybe. All I know is that it’s not something you can predict. You never know when your moment is here, all you can do is focus on 1 thing, 1 step towards that dream. I don't think the days of waiting, struggle and doubt vanish, they gain value. They justify the level of how intensely close a dream you envisioned can be.
The example of Actor Ke Huy Quan is a lesson in believing. It's also an opportunity to shed light on all the people who choose you, who remembered you, who gave you your shot, and who were used to propel you.
Throughout all our life, we have had people who were pivotal to a breakthrough.
I remember the teacher in high school who saw my artwork and stated ‘‘you have something special’’.
The art director who interviewed me for a graphic design role at the beginning of my career. We talked about life, travel and art. As a result, he embarked me into architecture for 5 years.
The amazing Danish startup founder who invited me to join her in Copenhagen. It immersed me in Scandivanian entrepreneurship. It made me start a podcast and see the possibility.
I have many more of those small moments that shifted my reality in a good way. And you too! We have all crossed the path of people who saw in us something we could not even comprehend.
As the year is rolling, with all its funky, serious, dramatic, light and so on events. I send you a mindful reminder of the Good in your life!
Open doors vibes 🌞

Coup de cœur designer: Stefan Sagmeister
I discovered Stefan Sagmeister during my studies. I met him briefly while working as an intern at the MAD museum where he had his exhibition on promotion and advertising material. I was so impressed, I found myself close to him for a few seconds and saw one of my icons before my eyes!
I can tell you his experimental use and pursuit of life and design have always been a great inspiration. He is not only a designer, he is a thought leader! That is one of the reasons I always admired him. He bridges the gap between art and design, experimenting and product making, and life and craft. I had not witnessed a contemporary designer pour so much of himself into his process and art.
Limitless, daring and shocking for some and why not? All leading to thought-provoking images to reveal.
The happy film is an experience of his process, partnership and collaborations: exquisitely raw and playful.
🐎 Opportunity knocks
In every letter, I share opportunities I stumbled upon. There are so many cool grants, funding, competitions, and more to enter to experience progress. I hope the list of the week will be useful.

• More or less exercise
A few days ago I did my ‘‘more or less’’ exercise. I wrote down what I wanted to do more and things I wanted to do less.
→ ✏️ Simple on paper, now the goal is to live towards that
* What about you? Have you already tried to write such a list?
* I have it close to my desk and it serves as a small reminder.
Creativity is in every little curious experimentation.
Feel free to share! Have fun!
Yours creatively,
Keva.
